4.3. Cards
The I-Gate 4000 PRO cards are shipped separately from the chassis.
Components susceptible to damage from static electricity are packed in static-
resistant bags. Unpack these items in a static-free environment to avoid damage.
Cards contain CMOS devices. All tools, test equipment, metal objects, and
personnel that come into contact with CMOS devices must be electrically grounded.
Note
: The TPSM/TPSM-R1 card contains a lithium battery; ensure that it has
been correctly inserted. Replace it only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries strictly according
to the manufacturer's instructions These steps are applicable only if the chassis
has not been factory-installed in the cabinet.
4.4. Cables and Connectors
Check the cables and connectors against the Production Packing List. If items are
missing, immediately notify the Veraz Networks agent.
