UNFOLDING THE PRAM
To unfold the pram, put it flat on the ground (Fig. 1),
pull the handle up, and then vividly towards yourself,
until the folding mechanism is locked (Fig. 2, 3, 3a).
NOTE! Before starting to use the pram, make sure that it has been
correctly unfolded.
ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE WHEELS
To disassemble the wheels, press down the button in the central
part of the wheel (Fig. 4) and remove the wheels from the axle (Fig.
5). To assemble them again, press the button down and slide the
wheels onto the axle till they get locked. NOTE! Before starting to
use the pram, make sure that all the wheels have been assembled
correctly.
PARKING BRAKE
The pram is equipped with a rear parking brake. To engage the
brake, press its lever down (Fig. 6, 6a). In order to disengage it,
lift the lever.
NOTE! Before starting to push the pram, make sure that the brake
has been disengaged.
NOTE! Always engage the safety brake, when you leave the pram
on an inclined surface.
NOTE! The brake is not designed for slowing down. It should be
engaged after the pram has been stopped completely.
NOTE! The pram is not designed for running.
HANDLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
It is possible to adjust the pram handle height. To perform the
adjustment, press down the round buttons on both sides of the
handle at the upper part, and then adjust the right height (Fig. 7, 7a).
BALERINA LUX
model is additionally equipped with a tray for
parents with a handy compartment and a cup holder.
ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING
THE BASSINET
In order to assemble the bassinet, slide the metal insets in its
front part into the front catches in the pram frame (Fig. 8, 8a), then
press the rear part of the bassinet to the frame so that the rear metal
insets of the bassinet are in the rear catches (Fig. 9, 9a). In case of
the
BALERINA
model the rear catches will get locked automatically,
and in the
BALERINA LUX
model they should be locked by moving
the plastic mechanism (Fig. 9a).
Note! Before starting to use the pram make sure that the
bassinet has been assembled correctly. Check, if the metal insets
are locked in the catches on both sides of the pram.
MOSQUITO-NET
The pram is provided with a handy mosquito-net. To assemble
it, put one end under the footrest or under the bassinet, and pull
the other and then fasten it with the zipper to the canopy inside
(Fig. 23). The mosquito-net is suitable both for the deep and stroller
version.
RAIN FOIL
The pram is provided with a rain foil equipped with an air hole
at the baby’s face height. To assemble it, put one end under the
footrest or under the bassinet rear, and pull the other end onto the
canopy till you reach its top part (Fig. 24). The foil is suitable both
for the deep and stroller version.
FOLDING THE PRAM
To fold the pram frame, stand behind the pram from the handle
side, pull up the plastic levers on both sides of the handle (Fig.
25, 25a), then release the additional protection at the folding
mechanism (Fig. 26, 26a), and push the handle forward until the
frame folds completely (Fig. 27).
MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING THE CAR SEAT WITH AN
ADAPTER
In order to mount a 0+ group child car seat on the pram frame, the
adapter should be mounted first.
The adapter is mounted and dismounted in the same manner
as the bassinet
(see ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE
BASSINET ) (Fig. 28, 33).
Next, latch the car seat detents onto the adapter (Fig. 29, 30).
CAUTION! Ensure that the adapter and the seat are properly
mounted before use.
The seat has an adjustable handle designed for carrying. Press
the red buttons located on either side of the handle in order to set the
required handle position (Fig. 31).
In order to dismount the seat, pull the levers located on either side
of the seat (Fig. 32).
To disassemble the bassinet, release the rear catches (Fig. 10,
10a), and then pull the bassinet up (Fig. 11, 11a).
ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE SEAT
The seat may be assembled with its front and back facing
the movement direction (Fig. 12, 13, 14). The seat should be
assembled and disassembled the same way as for the bassinet
(see ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE BASSINET).
NOTE! Before starting to use the pram make sure that the seat has
been assembled correctly. Check, if the metal insets are locked on
both sides of the pram.
ADJUSTING THE FOOTREST
The pram is equipped with an adjustable footrest. To move it
to the right position, press down the red buttons on its both sides
(Fig. 15).
ASSEMBLING, DISASSEMBLING
AND ADJUSTING THE FRONT BAR
The seat is equipped with a safety front bar. To assemble
it, slide the plastic insets into the holes in the armrests
(Fig. 16). To dismantle it, press down the buttons located on both
sides on the plastic insets and pull it up (Fig. 16). Position of the
front bar may be adjusted. To place it in the required position, it is
enough to move it to the required side (Fig. 17).
NOTE! Always use the seat equipped with the safety front bar.
RESTRAINT SYSTEM
The seat is equipped with a 5-point restraint system (Fig. 18).
It should be used from the moment a baby starts to sit by itself.
Unfasten the belts, by releasing the forks from the central buckle,
seat the baby, adjust the length of the belts so that they fit closely to
the baby’s body, without oppressing it, and then fasten the forks of
all the belts to the central buckle.
Moreover, the seat is provided with a protecting groin belt which
is to be fastened to the front bar with the snap fasteners (Fig. 19)
NOTE! Always use the restraint system, if the baby can sit by itself.
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The seat is equipped with a four-step adjustment of the backrest
angle. To lower the backrest, pull up the plastic lever in the rear part
of the backrest (Fig. 20), and then set the correct position. To lift the
backrest, it is enough to push it upwards until the correct position is
achieved. It will get locked automatically (Fig. 21).
BAG
The pram is provided with a handy bag. It is attached to the
pram handle in the place intended for this purpose above the handle
height adjustment unit (Fig. 22).
