a result, the refrigerator requires less cleaning.
DEFROSTING
Defrosting the larder section takes place fully
automatically.
The presence of water drops on the rear wall on the
inside of the larder indicates that the larder section is busy defrosting.
The defrost water runs via the drain gutter to the receptacle in which it
will evaporate.
Defrost the appliance when the layer of ice has reached a thickness of
3 to 5 mm.
Set the thermostat to [0] and remove the plug from the socket. Remove
all products from the freezer compartment or cooler section. Store
the frozen products on a cool location, packaged in newspapers and
blankets.
Place a receptacle under the freezer compartment and wait for the ice
to defrost. Defrosting can be accelerated by placing a tray with hot
water in the freezer compartment.
Remove ice using a plastic scraper.
Warning: Never remove ice with sharp objects, defrosting sprays, a
hair dryer, a heater or something similar. This could lead to unsafe
situations and cause irreparable damage to the appliance.
Clean and dry the freezer compartment. Set the thermostat to the
required position. Only place the frozen products in the freezer
compartment once it has reached the required
temperature.
