ACTIVATION STEPS
1.
Activation starts automatically when you plug the power cord of your
Set Top Box into the wall. It may take up to 15 minutes to complete.
2.
Is your TV on? If not, turn it on now and tune to the correct input. Use your TV
remote (not FiOS remote) and select Input until you see the activation screens.
3.
View the progress on your TV screen. Your Set Top Box will automatically turn
off and on during this process.
4.
Follow the instructions on the screen. If asked to choose HD or SD, choose SD.
5.
Once you see a live TV picture, your Set Top Box is activated!
SIMPLE TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
•
Did you order more than 10 business days ago? If so, you must use manual
activation on page 18.
•
If you do not see activity on your TV screen for 15 minutes, then unplug the
Set Top Box. Wait 15 seconds. Plug back in and repeat activation steps.
•
If you’ve tried Automatic Activation three times and it does not complete, see
page 18 for Manual Activation.
