Disassembly
WARNING
Lock the rope drum to prevent it from rotating when the hoisting brake is
detached. The weight of a falling rope can rotate the unlocked drum and can
cause a hazardous situation.

Lower the hook to the ground. Switch OFF the power supply
to the hoist. Remove the protective cover of the hoisting
machinery. Lock the rope drum with a wooden wedge to
prevent it from rotating.
Remove the screw to remove the brake (1). Remove the
brake disc (4), friction disc (5). Remove the snap ring to
remove the pinion (6).
