Using your rollator
5.1 Unfolding / folding
Risk of entrapment
Keep fingers, buckles, jewellery and
clothes away from the folding mechanism.
Risk of falling
Check that the rollator is completely open
and that the frame is locked.
5.1.1
Folding the rollator
1. Pull connection plates (4) a bit upwards
[A].
2. Lift the rollator by its push handles to close
the frame
[B].
3. Pull safety bar (7) up to fold
[C].
5.1.2
Unfolding the rollator
1. Turn the safety bar (7) downwards to fold
it open [D].
2. Push both handles down with the brakes
(5) on the floor and push the rollator
forward till it is completely open [E].
3. Turn the seat down to the sitting position.
4. Adjust the pushing handles to the desired
height (see details in §4.1).
5.2
Brake system
Risk of falling
Check the working of the pression brakes
and the wear of the end pieces to ensure
your safety.
The rollator is equipped with pression brakes.
To apply the brakes, just use your weight on
the pushing handles of the rollator.
If the user sits on the seat of the rollator, the
pression brakes are automatically applied.
5.3
Sitting down, standing up
and walking
1.
While leaning on the handgrips, turn
around and sit down on the seat.
2.
To stand up again, lean on the handgrips
and turn around.
3.
Step forward with the rollator close to your
body.
