7.2. Removing the swivel seat from the
bathtub:
1. Loosen the wing screw.
2. Loosen the positioning screws

3. Take the swivel seat out the bath.

Let someone assist you for a smoothly, safely
turning of the swivel bath transfer seat.
1. Pull up swivel lever

2. Lift up the legs of the patient when
turning to the washing position.
3. Turn the seat to the desired position.
The seat can be locked in four 90°
positions by placing the lever in one of
the four locking holes

Desired positions:
•
Patient position for washing:
place seat parallel with lower frame
•
Patient position for transfer
to/from swivel seat:
place seat
perpendicular with lower frame
4. Lock the seat by placing the swivel

5. Check that the seat is properly locked.
7.4. Transfer to/from swivel seat:
CAUTION: Risk of injury - Be careful
that you not slip out on the bathroom
floor.
For people who can walk:
1. Walk to the swivel seat.
2. Turn the swivel seat in a good position,
it must be easy to transfer to the seat.
(seat perpendicular with the lower
frame)
3. Place yourself in the seat. For extra
support you can grasp the arm
supports.
Be careful that you not slip
out on the floor.
4. Turn the swivel seat to the washing
position.
For persons who has not the walking
ability:
1. Let someone assist you to transfer to /
from the swivel seat.
2. Turn the seat in the good position. (seat
perpendicular with the lower frame).
3. Lift the patient in the swivel seat. For
extra support the patient can grasp the
arm supports.
4. Turn the swivel seat to the washing
position.
When the swivel seat is placed too high for
performing the transfer on a safe manner,
you can make use of a step stool/bench.
8. Carrying the swivel seat
The best way to carrying the swivel seat is to
grasp the seat on the handgrip of the
backrest.
9. Safety instructions
•
Do not exceed the maximum user
weight. The maximum user weight for
your seat is 130 kg.
•
Use the swivel seat on horizontal, non-
smooth surfaces of the bathtub board.
•
Keep it away from children. The swivel
seat shall not be used as a toy.
•
When it is used by, on or near children,
invalids or disabled persons close
supervision is necessary.
•
Risk of burns – Be careful when using in
extreme hot or cold environments for a
sufficient amount of time and when
touching.
•
Do
not
place
fingers
between
components of the swivel seat.
•
Keep fingers, cloths, jewelry or items
away from moving parts of the swivel
seat.
•
Check that the seat is properly locked
after turning.
•
Check that the seat is properly fixed in
the bathtub with the positioning screws.
•
Check that at least 30 mm of each
attachment leg rest securely on each
side of the bath.
•
Do not use the swivel seat when it is not
working properly.
•
Only Vermeiren approved accessories
are allowed.
•
