Shark steering defective
1. Unplug both motors. Switch the
steering off and on again with the
joystick in the neutral position. If
this fault is indicated again, the
steering is defective.
2. Unplug both motors. Switch the
steering off and on again with the
joystick in the neutral position.
Then push the joystick a little
way in any direction. If the
steering relays click twice and a
fault is indicated for the left
motor, the steering is in order. If
any other fault is indicated and
the steering relays do not click
twice, the steering is defective.
3. Check the motors as described
under 3. and 4.
NOTE: If a faulty motor is indicated
when driving, it could indicate a
steering fault.

Shark – PM (programming module) defective
1. Check the cables and plugs for
damage/corrosion.
2. Check the BUS cable
(resistance).
3. Exchange the PM.

Shark – communications error
1. Check the cables and plugs for
damage/corrosion.
2. Check the BUS cable
(resistance).
3. Exchange the Shark steering.

Unknown fault
1. Check the cables and plugs for
damage/corrosion.
2. Check the BUS cable
(resistance).
3. Contact
the
manufacturer.

Incompatible steering unit
1. The steering programming is
faulty and the unit is not
compatible (system dependent).
2. Check whether the programming
of the PM and the steering unit
agree.
Key:
All six (6) LEDs of the charge display blink for 0.2 seconds with a pause of 0.8
seconds.
