ARMRESTS
The height of the arm rests can be adjusted and they can also
be detached (e.g. so that the patient can be moved sideways).
Loosen the adjustable screw (1) a little and then pull it out.
The armrest can now be put into the position you want. The
adjustable screw (1) must then be replaced in one of the holes
in the plate (2) and hand-tightened.
L
Make sure that all fixing screws are properly tightened
before using the wheelchair, otherwise injury and/or
damage can be caused.
The armrests can be folded back for therapeutic purposes and to move the patient from the
wheelchair.
Raise the armrests and fold them back if they are not needed
when the patient is being moved from the wheelchair or for
therapeutic purposes.
L
The armrests may only be folded back when there
is no chance of the wheelchair user falling out
sideways.
L
The screws on the folding mechanism (see circle)
must always be fastened tightly enough so that the
armrest cannot fall back down accidentally.
L
To avoid endangering your safety, do not use the
wheelchair if you see that the mountings have
changed, been damaged, or have worn out.
L
If you make any changes to the armrests and/or the armrest retainers, you do so entirely at
your own risk. Your guarantee will be voided.
L
When you are folding down the armrests, ensure that no objects or body parts come within the
range that the armrest is swinging, as this could cause damage or injury.
L
If you notice changes, damage, or wear to the mountins, please contact your dealer, who can
remedy these defects.
CHEST BELT
A chest belt is attached to the upper part of the back section
to secure the user during the standing/upright function. Place
the chest belt straps on top of one another and press them
tightly. The chest belt is made secure by an adhesive system.
L
Attach the chest belt in such a way that the upper
body is pressed against the back section so that the
upper body cannot move involuntarily.
L
The chest belt should not restrain the user's arms.
L
As using the chest belt can restrict breathing, the patient must agree to the use of the chest
belt.
