Regular maintenance is not only to keep your wheelchair in good condition but it also
guarantees your safety.
A first control is advisable after one month of usage. Refer to your dealer who will fasten all
bolts and nuts.
We also advise a 1/2 year check up. Repairs of possible demerit can be performed by your
dealer/
Cleaning the wheelchair
Dirt on the frame and/or plastic parts can easily be removed with warm water and a soft
detergent. For cleaning the varnished or chromed parts you can buy a special product in the
store.
Tire condition
Check the tire pressure. The maximum pressure is indicated in this book. Lowered tire pres-
sure is more comfortable to drive but the lifespan of the tires will be reduced.
The pressure has to be the same on both sides to avoid deviation to the left or the right.
The valves must always be covered by the valve caps.
If the profile of the tires wears out or when fissures appear, replace the tires in pairs.
Demounting the wheels and replacing the tires is best done by your dealer. He has the right
know-how and the right equipment at his disposal.
