3.12 Changing the batteries

CAUTION: Risk of burns - Do not come in contact with the acid from the batteries. See for
a good ventilation of the battery compartment.

CAUTION: Risk of injury - Be aware for fingers or hands, while mounting the battery
housing in the scooter.
The battery shall be changed by trained personel.
The wiring and charger are well situated in the scooter. Do not attempt to re-locate the wiring by
yourself. The improper installation of the wiring may result in pinching the wiring between the battery
box, which cause failure to the electronic system of your scooter.
Be sure the battery cables are connected to the right battery.
1.
Unlock the battery lock part
with
the knob .
2.
Rotate the battery lock part
.
3.
Lift the battery housing
out the
scooter with the handgrip on the
battery housing
.
4.
Loosen the battery housing
by
loosen the 8 screws on the bottom
side of the battery housing
.
5.
Disconnect the plugs from the battery
cables.
6.
Change the batteries.
7.
Connect the plugs to the correct
battery.
8.
Check that the cables are installed
properly and replace both batteries
together.
9.
Close the battery housing and
retighten the 8 screws.
10.
Mount the battery housing
back in
the scooter.
11.
Lock the battery lock part
to unlock
the battery housing in your scooter.
12.
Check the battery housing
is firmly
secured in your scooter.
