With the
SUSTAIN
control set to the maximum,
DECAY
will have no effect.
RELEASE
again will have no effect with the
SUSTAIN
control is being set fully to
the left and the envelope has already reached zero level after completion of the
DECAY
phase.
All time relevant controls (
ATTACK
,
DECAY
and
RELEASE
) have a control time
of 1 ms when set fully to the left. Here, all levels change abruptly without audible
delay.
EG 1 and EG 2 offer individual legato switches (below the
MASTER TUNE
control). When set to
their
OFF-position, the corresponding envelope generator is always restarted whenever a new note
is being played. With legato being enabled, the envelope generator is only restarted if the last played
key has been released prior to the key being played currently. Here, the envelope progress is not
being interrupted with notes being played legato.
If the VCA’s
r
MODE
switch is set to
EG 2 + LFO
, the envelope generator will be retriggered during
the sustain phase by the LFO. That means as long as a key of the keyboard is held down, attack and
decay will be started again after being completed.
