Velocity
By using the keyboard’s velocity, it is possible to control the filter’s cutoff frequency as well as the
amount of EG 2 towards the VCA and therefore the output volume.
The
VCA
switch enables resp. disables velocity to modulate the VCA.
H
Since the velocity does not directly modulate the VCA but the amount of its
envelope modulation, it will be noneffective with the
MODE
switch in the VCA
section being set to ON.
CUTOFF INT
sets the intensity of the velocity towards the cutoff frequency. With this control set
fully to the left, no modulation is applied. The more this control is turned up, the stronger the
influence of the velocity towards the filter frequency.
Volume-pedal
You may connect a pedal to the
VOLUME
jack
j
input on the ’14 Analogsynthesizer’s rear panel to
control the output volume.
The
MIN. VOL.
trim pot near the jack input adjusts the volume at the pedal’s minimum position.
This way, the level will not be fully set to zero with the pedal connected. The more the
MIN. VOL.
control is turned to the left, the lower the minimal level.
Sustain-pedal
The
SUSTAIN
input on the ’14 Analogsynthesizer’s rear allows connecting a foot-pedal. In regular
play-mode, the pedal holds the last note being played, even if it has been released – just like on a
piano.
In arpeggiator- and sequencer-mode, the pedal holds the note progression resp. the sequence.
