Using Voicemail
Wave Phone User Guide
Voicemail Message Number Display
When the phone is idle its display will either show
VMAIL (IF
there are no new Voicemail messages
in the phone’s mailbox), or
# MSG
(where # equals the number of new messages in the mailbox).
To Retrieve Messages
When either
VMAIL
or
# MSG
is on the display:
Press the leftmost softkey to initiate a call to Voicemail to retrieve the messages.
To Deactivate/Activate Voicemail Message Number Display
From an idle phone:
1.
Press the
MENU
softkey on the display.
2.
Press
NEXT
until
VDISP
appears, then press the corresponding button.
Note:
If a password is requested at this point, enter the phone’s password. Contact your
Wave System Administrator for information about passwords.
3.
Press
ON
to have
VMAIL
(or
# MSG
, where
#
equals the number of new messages in
the mailbox) displayed.
OR
Press
OFF
to have the extension number of the phone displayed.
