6. INSTALLATION
6.1. INSTALLATION KIT - 10B14515G1
The equipment is supplied with the following components:
Connect the PE, and Master phase and neutral signals to the Sync. Box reference signal input (see Fig. 1) using
the the female IEC 10 A plug and a suitable power cable.
Connect the Slave UPS(s) to the Sync. Box UPS output(s) (see Fig. 2) using the RJ-45 short cable(s).
6.2. INSTALLATION TIPS
• Connect the Sync. Box input earth cable to a protective earth terminal.
• Position the Sync. Box near to the Slave units.
• Use shielded RJ-45 cables.
• Connect the RJ-45 cable (10H54910P15) directly to the control board, do not use terminals to extend
connections.
• Position the Sync. Box in a suitable location, protected from harmful environmental conditions such as:
vibration, dust, corrosive atmospheres, high humidity.
• Install a 2 A slow-blow fuse on the phase signal line, as close as possible to the Master unit (unless
using a 90-NET with dedicated, fuse-protected terminals as the Master unit)
• If the Box is mounted on top of a UPS, ensure that it does not obstruct air outlets.
WARNING!
The Synch. Box must be supplied from L1 and N.
NOTE:
Once the above connections have been completed, please follow the procedure related to the UPS model used
in the following APPENDIX:
APPENDIX A -> 90-NET
APPENDIX B -> 80-NET / 70-NET
APPENDIX C -> 80-NET (BLACK)
APPENDIX D -> 80-EXL / EXL S1 / TRINERGY CUBE
