Batteries should be of the same capacity and type. Using different types of battery may cause fires!
Note
•
Check and inspect the battery connection screws and parts and ensure that they are firmly connected.
Tighten any loose screws immediately.

Ensure that all safety devices function correctly. Check if the battery management parameters have been
set-up correctly.
•
Measure and record the air temperature inside the battery room.
•
Check the battery terminals for damage or signs of overheating and make sure that their enclosures and
terminal shields are intact.

Disposing of Used Batteries
Place any leaky or damaged batteries in a container capable of withstanding sulfuric acid and dispose of it
according to the local rules and regulations.
Used lead acid accumulator batteries are classified as hazardous waste and must be stored, transported, used,
and disposed of in accordance with the national and local regulations on dangerous waste, in addition to the
standards covering the prevention of pollution resulting from the disposal of used batteries.
According to the relevant national regulations, the used lead acid storage battery must be recycled and not
disposed of. Dumping or any other improper disposal of used lead acid accumulator batteries may lead to severe
environmental pollution. If the used battery is not disposed of correctly, as per the applicable regulations, the
persons responsible for disposing of them may be liable for prosecution.
