2.4.3. Connecting the batteries
Before the system starts, make sure that UPS battery connection polarity is correct.
Wrong connections can endanger operator safety and damage the system.
This operation must be carried out by authorized personnel and with the external battery
disconnected. Before closing the battery switch QS9 check that the polarity of the voltage
on the external terminals is the same as on the internal terminals. Once the polarity has been
checked, the external battery isolation device may be closed, and QS9 may be closed when
the rectifier is “ON.”
