5.5. Procedure 2: UPS TURN-OFF PROCEDURE
Starting with each UPS in normal mode, this procedure explains how to switch off the UPS.
When this procedure is followed completely, the output voltage will be completely turned off, and any
load(s) connected to the UPS output will be shut down.
Perform the following procedure on each UPS:
5.6. Procedure 3: TRANSFER FROM NORMAL MODE TO MAINTENANCE BYPASS MODE
Starting with each UPS in normal mode, this procedure explains how to transfer the load to maintenance
bypass and shut down the UPS.
Perform the following procedure on each UPS:

Turn inverter OFF by pressing the ON/OFF control button
icon on the TS-LCD of each UPS
Once the all the inverters have been switched OFF apply the following steps
to all UPS in the system

Switch QS4 on Box to OFF position (all UPS)
Only in case of BOX in
version FULL

Switch QS9_n on each Core OFF and open the external
battery disconnector (all UPS)

Switch QS4_n on each Core to OFF position (all UPS)
Fans on each Core OFF

Switch QS1-n on each Core to OFF position (all UPS)
6
Switch QS2 to OFF position (all UPS)
Fans on the BOX OFF

Switch QS44 to OFF position (all UPS)
8
Switch QS1 on Box to OFF position (all UPS)
Only in case of BOX in
version FULL

De-energize the UPS by opening the upstream breakers
(mains and bypass) (all UPS)

Once the all the inverters have been switched OFF apply the following steps
to all UPS in the system

Close the external maintenance bypass Switch
In case the system is put in maintenance bypass with the
internal switch, close QS3 in all Box
Only in case of Box in version

Switch QS9_n on each Core OFF and open the external
battery disconnector (all UPS)

Switch QS4 on Box to OFF position (all UPS)
Only in case of BOX in

Switch QS4_n on each Core to OFF position
Fans on each Core OFF

Switch QS1-n on each Core to OFF position (all UPS)

Switch QS2 to OFF position (all UPS)

Switch QS44 to OFF position (all UPS)

Switch QS1 on Box to OFF position (all UPS)
