THE SPARK PLUG CAN ONLY REMOVED WHEN THE ENGINE IS COOL. THE
USE OF ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS AND SPARK PLUGS OTHER THAN THE PRE-
SCRIBED TYPES (SEE SECTION TECHNICAL DATE) CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS
DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. THE SPARK PLUG MUST BE CHANGED EVERY
5,000 KM. THE SPARK PLUG MUST BE CHECKED EVERY 5,000 KM. AND
CHANGED EVERY 15,000 KM. (INJECTION VEHICLES).

Dissemble left hand lower side panel , unscrew the four fixing screws «

» and the two
knobs (accessible by tipping the saddle and removing the helmet compartment), re-
move air cleaner plug «

» and withdraw the filter element
