Remove the sponge and wash it with soap and water. Dry it with compressed air before
refitting.

Checking the brake oil level (03_09)
The brake reservoir is fitted with a see-through inspection hole, «
A
»; this allows to
inspect the brake fluid level inside the reservoir, and hence the circuit. When inspec-
tion hole «
A
» is completely filled with fluid, the level is above the minimum. As soon
as this lowers, even by a few millimetres, the fluid level is to be considered at the
minimum allowable. When no fluid is visible through the inspection hole, the level is
below the minimum. A reduction of the brake fluid level may be caused by worn pads.
In the event that the fluid level is found to be below the minimum, you are advised to
contact your nearest
Authorised Piaggio Service Station
, so that a thorough in-
spection of your vehicle's braking system may be carried out. Should it be necessary
to top-up the fluid level, please follow the instructions given below. Lift the reservoir
