Tips for saving energy
1– Install the appliance in a cool, well ventilated room, but not in direct sunlight and not near
heat sources (radiator, cooker.. etc. ). If you install it near heat sources, use an insulating
plate.
2– Allow warm food and drinks to cool down before putting them in the refrigerator or freezer
compartment.
3– When thawing frozen food, place it in the refrigerator compartment. The low temperature of
the frozen food will help to cool the refrigerator compartment while it is thawing, reducing
the energy required.
4– When placing liquids in the appliance, make sure they are covered. Otherwise humidity
increases inside the appliance and the time taken to cool them is longer. Also covering
drinks and liquids helps preserve the smell and taste.
5– When placing food and drinks in the appliance, open and close the appliance door as
quickly as possible to keep the temperature inside the appliance stable.
6– Keep the covers closed of any compartments with different temperature requirements in
the appliance (crisper, chiller ...etc. ).
7– Make sure the door gasket is clean and pliable. Replace gaskets if they are worn or
damaged.
