Before using the charger, read all the instructions and cautionary markings on the charger and battery pack 
as well as the instructions on the battery pack. 

o

 

This model V20L0CH2B1 charger and VETERAN TOOL battery models V20L0BP2B1, V20L0BP4B1 and 
V20L0BP5B1

 

are specifically designed to work together. Do not attempt to charge the battery pack with any 

other charger than the one supplied or attempt to use this charger to charge other batteries. 

o

 

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified 
persons in order to avoid a hazard. 

o

 

Only charge your battery pack indoors as the charger is designed for indoor use only..

 

o

 

Do not place any object on top of the charger as it could cause overheating. Do not place the charger near any 
heat source. 

o

 

Pull on the plug end of the charger power cord to disconnect it from the outlet. Do not pull on the cord. 

o

 

Make sure that the charger cord is positioned where it will not be stepped on, tripped over or otherwise 
subjected to damage or stress. 

o

 

Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary. The use of an improper extension cord could cause 
the risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution. 

o

 

Do not use the charger if it has been subjected to a heavy impact, dropped or otherwise damaged in any way. 
Take the charger to an authorized service centre for a check or repair. 

o

 

Do not disassemble the charger. Take it to an authorized service centre when service or repair is required. 
Incorrect re-assembly may result in the risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution. 

o

 

To reduce the risk of an electric shock, unplug the charger from the power supply before attempting to clean 
it. Removing the battery pack alone does not reduce the risk. 

o

 

The charger is designed for use from a standard household electrical supply. Do not attempt to connect the 
charger to a supply with a different voltage. 

o

 

The charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental 
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction 
concerning use of the charger by a person responsible for their safety. 

o

 

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the charger.   

o

 

Do not expose charger to rain or snow. 

o

 

Do not mount charger on wall or permanently affix charger to any surface. The charger is intended to use on 
a flat, stable surface (i.e. table top, bench top) 

o

 

Never attempt to connect two chargers together.   

o

 

Never insert any objects into the charger’s air vents. Electric shock or damage to the battery charger may 
result. 

o

 

Disconnect the charger from the outlet before attempting any cleaning. This will reduce the risk of electric 
shock. Removing the battery pack will not reduce this risk. 

o

 

Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge. Remove battery once fully charged. 

o

 

Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
