Risk of injury due to irregular checks!
– Have the folding fork arms checked by a service specialist or the manufac-
turer at least once a year (more frequently for heavy usage or multiple-shift
operation).
– Perform all tests (including the UVV check to discover micro cracks) based on
ANSI/ITSDF B56.1. The service specialist will specify the scope of the test and
the test interval.
The load capacity of the fork arms is compromised if the fork arms are damaged.
Use thereof can (e.g., in the event of material breakage due to micro cracks) can
cause serious accidents.

Danger of accidents due to worn fork arms!
– Perform a check for wear at least once a year.
The load capacity of the fork arms is compromised if the fork arms are worn.
Using worn forks can cause serious accidents (e.g., due to material breakage
under high loads). The check for wear is part of the fork arms inspection in
accordance with ANSI/ITSDF B56.1.
