Heaters filling with water procedure  

1. 

Open the combination faucet  

2. 

As  soon  as  the  water  at  the  draw-off  point  starts  run  out  of  the  hot  water  valve  the  filling  process  is 
completed and the combination faucet must be closed. 

3. 

Check the joints tightness. 

Warning: 

In case that Honeywell V 4044F three way valve is used it is necessary to reset the lever for manual 

valve operation from AUTO position into OPEN position. This must be done before the heating 

system filling process starts in order to bleed the heater. After the filling process has been completed 

reset again manually this lever back from OPEN into AUTO position.

Heaters operation by users  

1. 

Set the required hot service water temperature on the heater thermostat. In order to ensure a sufficiently 
quick HWS heating we recommend to keep the 15 °C difference between the temperatures set on the 
heater and boiler thermostats (like the heater thermostat on 55 °C level and boiler thermostat on 70 °C 
level). In order to inhibit the propagation of legionella (bacteria coming up in backwaters at temperatures 
below 60 °C) we recommend to set the HWS temperature above 65 °C at least once a week. 

2. 

Keep checking the service water temperature on the thermometer.

7. 

IMPORTANT WARNINGS 

1. 

The appliance only can be used for the purpose that it is destined for.  

2. 

The appliance can only be operated by adult persons and children without being supervised by 
adults must not be left nearby the appliance. 

3. 

The appliance is not destined for the use by persons (incl. children) whose physical, sensual or 
mental  disability  or  lack  of  experience  and  knowledge  prevent  them  from  a  safe  use  of  the 
appliance unless they are supervised or if they were not instructed on the use of appliance by a 
person responsible for their safety.  

4. 

Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 

5. 

If the appliance is going to be put out of operation for a long time it must be disconnected from 
the electricity- from the socket. 

6. 

During  assembly,  installation  and  operation  of  the  appliance  it  is  necessary  to  comply  with 
standards that apply in the relevant country of destination.

The  user  is  obliged  to  put  a  professional  contractual  service  accredited  by  VIADRUS  a.s.,  the 
heater  manufacturer  in  trust  with  commissioning,  regular  maintenance  and  defects elimination, 
otherwise the heater proper function isn’t guaranteed. „Quality and completeness certificate for 
VIADRUS  OV  100  L  heater“  after  having  been  filled  out  by  contractual  service  organization 
serves as the „Guarantee certificate“. 

8. 

Regular maintenance on the heater must be done once a year according to the following chapter. 

If you don’t adhere to these terms you cannot claim for guarantee repairs.
