SETTINGS COMMANDS
The following set of commands allows the user to modify the Generator Frequency, Modulation (CW/
Pulse), Factory Setting (Factory Reset), ATC-5000NG Scope Port and Generator Power.
These commands are used for troubleshooting the ATC-5000NG and for calibration and factory testing of
the ATC-5000NG.
5.8.1
SETTINGS MENU RESET
Command Syntax:

Description:
This command sets the Unit to the factory default settings for the current scenario type. It resets
all of the generators to factory default power level and frequency and modulation to pulse
mode.A”*” is returned if the command was able to complete successfully or “?” if a failure occurs.
This command should always be executed immediately after changing from one instrument to
another (DME to XPDR, XPDR to DME, etc.). A 10 second delay is recommended to allow this
command to complete before reading the reply.
