Calibrating the touchscreen
If touchscreen controls (such as menu options, keyboard keys, and icons) of the FVAm microscope do not respond
as expected, you can calibrate the active areas of the touchscreen.
Notes:
•
Calibration adjusts only the active areas of the touchscreen, not the amount of pressure required to use
touchscreen controls.
•
Use a blunt object, such as a stylus for tablets, to perform this procedure.
Step 1 On the
Settings
menu, select
SYSTEM SETTINGS
>
TOUCHSCREEN CAL
, and then press the
Action
button.
The Touchscreen Calibration view appears. The view consists of a white background with a small, red
marker in the top corner.
Step 2 Using a stylus, tap the marker to reveal an additional marker in another area of the touchscreen, and
repeat until a red marker appears in the center.
Step 3 Tap the red marker in the center of the touchscreen to view the results (PASS or FAIL) of the calibration.
Note:
You can cancel the touchscreen calibration procedure at any time by pressing the
Magnify/Return
button. The calibration from the last successful touchscreen calibration are retained.
