System Programming
System programming is the process of selecting operating parameters which define a particular CCTV
system. The set of operating parameters specified during the programming process is a system
configuration. Using the programming keyboard, selections are made from menu-driven programming
screens which are displayed on the programming monitor. System diagnostics are also performed from
programming screens.
In this manual, a Menu Path is used to show the sequence of choices used to display the menu under
discussion. The last paragraph of each section typically includes a Settings listing, which shows all possible
settings for the menu item, a Defaults listing where appropriate and a Keys listing.

unavailable

Main Menu
Every menu in the Nova Powerplus system is accessed through the Main Menu. Press the number of the
menu item in order to enter that menu; for example, to enter the Alarm Actions screen, press the “3” key on
your programming keyboard. Note that you must use the number keys on the main section of your keyboard
the number keys on the numeric keypad are typically not functional in the Powerplus system.
