Pilot Plus
Keypad Groups
You may create groups of keypads to limit or enable their ability to control
PTZ cameras at various times. When you group keypads, the following
conditions will apply:
A keypad timed event will remain in effect until another event is
programmed to call the keypad to a different group.
The event does not have a start and stop time, only a start time.
If the application is restarted the system will start up using the last
valid camera/keypad group.
If a keypad dials into a monitor that is displaying a camera that the
keypad should not see, it will still see it.
If a tour is running on a monitor and the keypad dials into that
monitor, the tour will skip the cameras that are not allowed to be
viewed by the monitor.
If a keypad with permission to view a camera calls up the camera to a
monitor, the keypad without permission will still be able to view the
camera.
An alarm can still call up a camera to the monitor even if the keypad
assigned to that monitor is not allowed to view that camera.
Refer to the
Camera Partitions
paragraph, in the
Partitioning
section for
instructions on how to define which cameras will be included in the group or
groups.
Use the Options Wizard to select the keypads that you wish to include in the
group as follows:
