Partitioning
Partitioning is the act of assigning monitors to keypads, assigning partition
numbers to cameras and assigning cameras to monitors. For example, a
keypad can only control a camera view or PTZ functions if it is set up to view
the monitor to which the camera has been partitioned. The following
paragraphs describe:
Keypad/Monitor Partitions: Assign a monitor to a keypad.
Camera Partitions: Assign partition number to cameras for control
purposes.
Camera/Monitor Partitions: Assign a camera or cameras to a mnitor.
Keypad/Monitor Partitions
You can assign control of various monitors to selected keypads. To assign
monitors to keypads, proceed as follows:
1. In the Keypad # column, select a keypad.
2. Using the Add, Add All, Remove and Remove All buttons, select the
monitor(s) that are to be controlled by that keypad. In the example
