Key Description
MON
Press MON followed by a number on the numeric
keypad and then MON again to select a monitor in the
system.
For example, press MON > 2 > MON to select monitor
2.
CAM
Enter a camera number on the numeric keypad and
press CAM again to select a camera in the system.
For example, press 22 > CAM to select camera 22.
FUNC
Press FUNC to access the auxiliary numeric keypad
functions, such as: Aux 1 – Aux 8, Auto Pan, Auto Iris
and Lens Speed.
For example, press FUNC > Auto Pan to automatically
pan the current camera.
ALARM
The ALARM key function depends on the alarm mode
used:
Front Panel Not Assigned to an Alarm Monitor –
If the front panel is not assigned to a monitor,
pressing ALARM will assign the front panel to
the first alarm monitor.
Note:
The front panel partition table must be set to allow
the front panel to access an alarm monitor.
Non-Sequencing Alarms – If the front panel is
assigned to an alarm monitor, pressing ALARM
will acknowledge the alarm.
Sequencing Alarms – If the front panel is
assigned to a alarm monitor, pressing ALARM
will stop the alarm sequence. At this point, the
alarm is steady on the monitor. The next press
acknowledges the alarm and restarts the
sequence.
FAIL
The FAIL LED lights to indicate that there is a
communication problem with a camera. Press FAIL to
switch the failed camera to the current monitor. Press
FAIL again to acknowledge the failed camera.
A Fail indication indicates that further action is required
to verify that the camera is connected and operating.
