Programming Steps Performed with the Control Device Only

Note: Refer to V1300X-DVC and V1300X-RVC Intelligent Remote Control Panels Instruction Manual X777 and/or

V1400X-DVC System Console Instruction Manual X923 for operations, depending on the control device being used.

Storing Presets:  

A preset is a pre-programmed camera position.

Presets may be created either directly from the control device or through the programming menus. Since the control

device method is usually used, it is shown here:

Select a monitor.

Move camera to

desired position.

Select a camera.

Enter desired

preset number.

Deflect the joystick in either 

horizontal direction until desired pan 

speed is attained. Hold in place.

Press and hold the 

autopan key.

Release the 

autopan key.

Release 

joystick.

Programming Autopan Speed:  

Sets a constant pan speed for autopan operation.

Programming Sectors:  

A sector is a specific portion of the 360˚ viewing area.

Pan the selected 

camera to left 

end of sector 1.

Enter preset “96”. 

This defines the left 

end of sector 1.

Pan to the 

right end of 

sector 1.

Pan to the 

right end 

of sector 2.

Press the autopan key. This defines the 

right end of sector 1, the left end of sector 

2 and displays the title of sector 2.

Press the autopan key. This defines the 

right end of sector 2, the left end of sector 

3 and displays the title of sector 3.

Repeat the “pan right-press A/P” steps for all desired 

sectors (the maximum is 16). At the last desired sector, 

hold joystick to the right until the unit stops.

When finished press the autopan 

key until the title of sector 1 is 

displayed again.

Programming Autopan Limit Stops:  

Limit stops control how far the Surveyor2000 can pan.

Pan the camera to 

the left end of the 

autopan sector.

Pan the camera to 

the right end of the 

autopan sector.

Enter preset “98”.

Enter preset “99”.

Enter preset “98”.

Enter preset “99”.

Programming Continuous Rotation Panning:  

Removes the pre-programmed limit stops.
