CAUTION AND CARE
If the VCR is exposed to a rapid increase in temperature (such as warming a cold room or after transporting it from a
cold location to a warm one) condensation may form on the tape transport mechanism inside the VCR. To prevent
damage to the VCR or tapes, plug the VCR into the AC outlet and turn the power on for about 2 hours. Do not use the
VCR for playback or record during this time.

Condensation is likely to occur when:
1. The VCR is moved from a cold room to a warm room or from outdoors to indoors;
2.
A cold room is heated quickly;
3.
The humidity is very high.

Avoid using the video recorder where cold air, such as that from an air conditioner, will blow on it directly.
Do not place objects containing water, such as flower pots or drinks on top of the VCR.
PROTECT THE POWER CORD
Do not damage the Power Cord. Damage
to the Power Cord may cause fire or shock
hazard. When unplugging the Power Cord,
please hold by the plug and remove it
carefully.
NEVER INSERT ANY OBJECT INTO
THE CABINET
Do not insert any kind of foreign object
into the recorder. This not only creates a
safety hazard but can also cause
extensive damage to the mechanism.
MAINTAIN GOOD VENTILATION
I
There are many ventilation holes on the
bottom of the recorder. For maximum
ventilation, place the recorder on a hard
level surface only.
UNPLUG THE POWER CORD DURING
A LONG ABSENCE
When the VCR is not set up for time
lapse/timer/alarm recording and will be
unattended for a prolonged period of time,
turn OFF the VCR Power and unplug the
Power Cord.
CABINET CARE
Clean with a soft cloth slightly moistened
with a mild detergent and water. Wipe dry.
NEVER USE ANY PETROLEUM BASE
SOLUTIONS.
DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING HEAVY ON
THE RECORDER
Heavy objects placed on the recorder will
cause damage.
WHEN NOT IN USE
When you finish operating the recorder,
always unload the cassette and turn OFF
the POWER.
CARE OF VIDEO CASSETTE TAPE

Avoid violent vibration or shock.

Do not place in a location where a
strong magnetic fields exist (near a
motor, transformer or magnet).

Never place or store in direct sunlight.
l
Avoid dusty places.
l
Place the cassette in the cassette case
and store
vertically.

Never store tapes in a high humidity
location.
