Stand the steam iron on its heel rest in an upright position on an iron-safe surface and plug it in.
Ensure that the variable steam control switch is in “0” position.
Select the setting on the temperature control dial best suited for the fabric to be ironed.
When the indication light is gone, ironing may commence.
