OPERATION
The features of the WC-8H are described in this Chapter to ensure that you can use it to its full
potential.
The operation procedures ensure that every operator uses the WC-8H correctly.
Following these procedures will extend the life of the WC-8H, creating a safe operating
environment.

•
Children under the age of 16 should not operate the WC-8H.
•
DO NOT operate The WC-8H while under the influence of drugs or
alcohol, as severe injury or death could result.
•
Read the Operators manual for the tractor. Follow all safety and
maintenance guidelines in this manual when dealing with the PTO.
•
DO NOT operate the woodchipper for anything other than what it is
meant for.
•
DO NOT operate the woodchipper unless all safety guards and
protection plates are in place.
•
DO NOT leave the machine unattended while it is running.
CA UT I O N :
•
Keep your hands away from all moving components. Rotating parts can
cause severe injury.
•
Don't stand too close to the WC-8H. A safe distance is approx.
1 m.
•
No other persons are allowed around the equipment during the
operation.
•
Follow ALL safety guidelines and procedures to ensure safe use of the
WC-8H.

Human
An operator prepares the equipment and starts it as described further in this chapter.
5.1.2
Operator
Every well-skilled technical person can act as an operator. For safely using the WC-8H, the operator
must have the following specific professional knowledge:

General knowledge of industrial safety procedures.

General knowledge of operating and functioning farm machinery.
