Excessive vibration while
running.

Drive system vibration.

Flywheel out of balance.
•
Knife clearance is incorrect.
•
Check for dull chipper knives.
•
Inspect the flywheel for a broken
or missing knife. Replace if
needed.
•
Check the flywheel for wobbling
or correct assembling.
•
Adjust for proper knife clearance.
Unit won’t feed limbs
properly.
•
Not enough down pressure on
limbs.
•
The feed fork is too broad.
•
Infeed rollers tension springs
stretched too wide.
•
Adjust eyebolts to increase
infeed rollers' spring tension.
•
Remove and trim.
•
Replace these springs.
Feed roller slow in cold
weather.
Oil is too cold.
Run the machine for 5-10 minutes
to warm the oil, or replace oil with
the recommended viscosity oil.
The flywheel will not turn
properly.
•
Obstruction in the discharge
chute.
•
Low drive belt tension.
•
Clean the discharge chute.
•
Adjust or replace the drive belts.

SPARE PARTS AND WEARING PARTS
Any mechanical installation is always subject to wear and tear. Keeping a limited number of crucial
parts in stock is advisable to avoid costly downtime.
The installation mainly includes unique and complex components that you should always replace
with similar ones, such as knives and bearings.
Order spare parts by referring to the parts list.
Always state the correct make, type, and part number when ordering.
