INSTALLATION

1. Connect your HDTV source (such as a DVD player)

to the transmitter using the included HDMI cable.

2. Connect your HDTV display (such as a plasma or

LCD TV) to the receiver using the other HDMI cable.

3. Connect your CAT-5/5e/6 cables between the

transmitter and receiver.

4. Plug in the power supply to the receiver.

5. If a flickering or a blinking image is seen, try adjusting

the equalization switch.

NOTE

1. For transmitting non-HDCP compliant video/audio,

you can use only one CAT-5/5e/6 cable using the
jack labeled “TMDS”.

2. All the transmission distances are measured using

high quality CAT-5e.

3. If used in an environment in which Electro Magnetic

Interference exists (such as close to fluorescent
lighting), shielded CAT-5/5e/6 cables can be used to
reduce EMI problems, especially over long distances.

4. Because the quality of the CAT-5/5e/6 cable has a

major effect on performance, the actual transmission
distance is subject to the electrical characteristics
of your CAT-5/5e/6 cable. For resolution greater than
1080i or 1280x1024, a CAT-6 cable is recommended.
