General Visual Overview
Ensure no foreign objects projecting into the machine operation path�
Ensure all covers and guarding are in place, and secure�
Visually inspect bolt-on parts, and fasteners�
Mechanical Inspection, Motor, Gearbox, Limit Switches
Inspect motor/gearbox mounting bolts, ensure bolts are secure�
Inspect gearbox for oil leaks and check/add oil as needed�
Verify drive chain alignment, and proper tension; adjust as needed�
Check all sprocket set screws are tight, and sprockets have not moved�
Check limit switches for good condition, and proper cut-off when operating up/
down�
Load Chain, Bearings, Sprockets, and Platforms
Remove all beds, keep platforms down, and switch off machine�
Inspect load chain tension, chain connectors, and lifting bolt condition (remove
vertical cover if needed), tighten and lube as needed�
Inspect both driveshaft & sprocket alignment positions, and bearings & lockcollars�
Inspect all vertical slider brackets and bolts on all platforms�
Inspect blue plastic guides on platform corners for wear and condition�
Inspect backstops on each platform for proper alignment�
Turn power on, and check for smooth platform operation up and down
