GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

Warning:  Read  all  safety  warnings  and  all  instructions. 

Failure  to  follow  the  warnings  and 

instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. 

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

1) Work area
a) Keep your work area clean and well lit. 

Cluttered benches and dark areas increase the risks of

accidents, electric shock, fire, and injury to persons.

b) Do  not  operate  air  compressor in  explosive  atmospheres, such  as  in  the  presence  of 
flammable  liquids,  gases, or  dust.  Keep  work  area  well  ventilated.  Always  locate the  air 
compressor at least 6.0 m (20 ft) away from work area if spraying flammable materials. Do not 
smoke  if  spraying  flammable  materials. 

The  air  compressor is able  to  create  sparks  which  may 

ignite  the  dust  or fumes.  Never  use  the  air compressor in  sites  containing lacquer,  paint,  benzene, 
thinner, gasoline, gases, adhesive agents, and other materials which are combustible or explosive. A 
longer hose may be required.

c) Always operate the air compressor in a well ventilated area. Follow all safety instructions 
and  use  a respirator as  directed  in  the  safety  instructions  provided  with the  material  to  be 
sprayed. 

Some  sprayed  materials such  as  paint,  paint  solvents,  paint  remover, insecticides,  weed 

killers, etc contain harmful vapors and poisons.

d) Keep  bystanders,  children, and  visitors  away  while operating  an air  compressor.  Do  not 
allow children to operate air compressor.

Distractions may cause loss of control of the tools which 

may cause injury to bystanders.

e) Never engage in horseplay with the air compressor.

Respect the air compressor as a working 

implement.

f) Always  operate  the  air  compressor from  a  stable  secure position.  Never  operate  the  air 
compressor from a roof or table. 

Use additional air hose to allow tools to reach high locations.

g) Equip the work area with a suitable fire extinguisher.

2) Personal safety
a) Do  not  remove,  tamper  with,  or  otherwise  cause the  tool  operating  controls  to  become 
disabled or Inoperable. 

This will cause the tool to work irregularly and may result in the risk of injury.

b) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, 
clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. 

Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in 

moving parts and increases the risk of injury.

c) Always wear eye and ear protection when using this tool. Use additional personal protective 
equipment as appropriate when operating this tool. 

Operators and others in work area must wear 

safety glasses. Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise is able to cause hearing loss. Dust mask, 
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat and other personal protective equipment, must be used for appropriate 
conditions.

d) Do not operate the air compressor unless you are familiar with controls. 

Users unfamiliar with 

controls may operate air compressor in an unsafe manner, injuring themselves or others.

e) Keep handles and controls dry, clean and free from oil and grease. 

Slippery hands cannot 

safely control them tool.

f) Stay  alert.  Watch  what  you  are  doing,  and  use common  sense  when  operating  an air
