Assembly information

3.1.1

Required tools

The following tools are required for mounting:

n

fork or ring spanner: 17 mm / 19 mm

n

socket wrench: 17 mm

n

Allen key: 5 mm

n

Phillips-tip screwdriver

n

slotted screwdriver

n

silicone press

n

For disposal preparation: drill with 2 or 3 mm drill bit

Assembly

3.2.1

Replace gas pressure spring

The model replaces the built-in gas pressure spring in the case of a
defect.

NOTICE! 

Damage to the cover plate!
If the upper edge of the finished floor is higher than

planned, there is a risk that the cover plate will touch. To

avoid touching, limit the lowering of the WC (possible up to

a max. of 20 mm):

– Place a maximum of five 4 mm spacer washers (included

in scope of delivery) under the piston rod of the gas
pressure spring.

Requirements:

n

WC ceramic is at the lowest position

n

Following components are removed (see instructions for use of the
cover plate 8356.8):

–

WC ceramic

–

cover plate

–

actuating button / hydraulic actuation

–

cover frame
