Installation and Assembly
3.3.3 Mount the Powerheads
Prerequisites
Manifold — completely installed
Components required
One powerhead per circuit on the manifold.
Mounting Sequence

Set the powerhead on the return valve with the connection cable
facing towards the rear and hand-tighten the plastic nut.

Place the cable on the left side of the corresponding return sensor
port.
CAUTION!
Do not damage the powerhead
Excessive tightening of the plastic nut may damage it.

Only hand tighten the plastic nut. Do no use tools.
3.3.4 Assemble the Circuit Hubs
Prerequisites
Manifold — completely installed
Return sensor ports mounted
Powerheads mounted
Components required
One circuit hub per circuit on the manifold.
Required materials
The long ribbon cable (31.5 inches) that comes with the control unit,
and the short ribbon cable (3 inch) that comes with each circuit hub.
– Note: there will be a spare short ribbon cable (3 inch) after assembly.
Assembly Sequence
Verify the short ribbon cable (3 inch) came with each circuit hub.
Plug the long ribbon cable (31.5 inch) into the first circuit hub.
Using the short ribbon cables, chain the series of circuit hubs together.
Plug each powerhead into the corresponding circuit hub.
Attach each circuit hub to the corresponding return sensor port.
The plug and socket cable connections are non-
interchangeable. They can only be used for their intended
purpose.
Viega recommends assembling the circuit hubs from left to
right, and completing the assembly before powering the
control unit on. Any circuit hubs that are attached after the
control unit has been turned on will not be recognized by
the control unit.
