3.3.6 Install the Thermostat
Prerequisites
Manifold — completely installed
Return sensor ports mounted
Powerheads mounted
Circuit hubs assembled
Verify the following criteria have been met before deciding on an
installation location and beginning the installation process:
Verify the control unit is operational (

Verify the thermostat installation location is in an area of the room
where an agreeable room temperature is particularly important, such
as a play area, work station, lounge suite, or dining area.
Verify the radio connection to the control unit has been established.

Verify the thermostat can be accessed readily (2 inches of free space
on all sides is required to replace the batteries).

Components required
Thermostat and included items (
Two alkaline AA batteries.
Required tools/materials
Business card sized plastic card.
Tools for mounting to desired wall surface.
Optional: tools required for a recessed installation.
Setup and Installation Sequence
Set up the control unit using operation method 1 (

(5.1.1 “Method 3 – Local Operation via Software” on page 56) if the
WLAN module will be attached.
Set up the thermostat.
