Measurement at the floor outlet
1.
Set the rotary program selector to
operating program (standard ven-
tilation).
2.
With an impeller air speed meter,
check the air velocity (or the flow rate
directly) at the supply air and extract
air valves (observe the instructions
issued by the manufacturer of the test
equipment).
Record actual values in the commis-
sioning report.
Note
Use test funnel
B
at the supply air
and extract air valves to capture the
entire air flow rate at the annular gap
of the supply air/extract air valve.
Where a test funnel cannot be used,
for example in larger supply air or
extract air apertures (such as in floor
outlets), carry out several tests over
the entire area and calculate an aver-
age value.
3.
Check the air flow rate using the air
speed in the diagrams or tables, see
chapter "Curves/tables for air flow
rates".
Record the determined values in the
commissioning report.
4.
Determine the deviation between the
calculated and the actual air flow
rates.
5.
Finely adjust the supply air/extract air
apertures in accordance with the
deviation.
Record the new aperture widths/
annular gap in the commissioning
report.
