Never touch the plastic fins of
the countercurrent heat
exchanger.
Pull out the countercurrent heat
exchanger using the plastic handle.

Danger
Chemical deposits adhering
to the countercurrent heat
exchanger can lead to illness
and appliance damage.
Never use chemicals to clean
the countercurrent heat
exchanger.
Flush with a hand shower attachment
(water temperature max. 50 ºC) and
let the fitting drip dry.
3.
Extract both filter mats on the outdoor
air side and the extract air filter mat.
4.
If necessary, clean the filter mats with
a vacuum cleaner or replace filters
that have already been cleaned sev-
eral times.
Note
■ Change the filter mats once per
year.
Contaminated filter mats can be
disposed of with domestic waste.
■ If "FILTER CHECK" appears on
the display of the remote control,
clean or replace both filter mats
(outdoor and extract air) inside the
appliance.
5.
Wipe the inside of the Vitovent with a
damp cloth; clean with a vacuum
cleaner if necessary.
6.
Slide the new or cleaned filter mats
into their guides in the correct posi-
tions.
Note
Never operate this appliance with-
out filter mats.
7.
If necessary, reset
"FILTER
CHECK"
