Function description
General
The Vitobloc 200 CHP units can be unidirectionally remotely monitored by means
of TeleControl LAN. Status information and fault messages can be displayed.
In order to acknowledge faults remotely, a bidirectional connection is required,
which is also available as a retrofit solution for modules that have already been
delivered.
Two retrofit kits have been developed for the possibility of remote
acknowledgement. They are based on the controllers BBS 3000
1)
and BMS 2007,
which offer different communication channels.
It is therefore necessary to check in advance which unit with which controller
should be extended to include the possibility of remote acknowledgement, so that
the corresponding retrofit kit can be ordered.
Operating principle
The Vitocom 300 LAN 3 device included in the remote reset retrofit kit provides
the reset command for fault acknowledgement as a binary signal via an internet
connection.
For this purpose, the Vitocom 300 LAN 3 is connected to the VITODATA server
via the internet. When the digital output ON/OFF is actuated, the corresponding
switching command is sent from VITODATA to the Vitocom 300.
The Vitocom 300 then switches the potential-free "DO" output, which connects the
digital input for remote acknowledgement on the CHP unit display via a relay.
System BBS 3000
The binary signal for fault acknowledgement is read in via a gateway. The reset
command is evaluated and carried out via the display to be replaced.
System BMS 2007
The binary signal for fault acknowledgement is evaluated by an extended version
of the display and the reset is carried out. For this purpose, the existing display
must be replaced with the display from the retrofit kit.
Fault acknowledgement
If there is a positive edge at the reset input of the new display, pending errors are
acknowledged and the CHP unit is switched to automatic mode.
If the condition that triggered the fault (e.g. battery undervoltage) is still present,
the fault is reset immediately or after internal monitoring.
Note
1)
Applicable to the BBS 3000:
Only modules with touchscreen can be equipped with a remote reset.
