The cabinet contains automatic defrosting system. In addition to this, the cabinet must be manually
defrosted at least twice a year or even more frequently, depending on the operating conditions.
Do not push the glass up by force or slam the glass down.
WARNING
Make sure that the cabinet version and storage temperature are correct for the products to be
stored.
1.13. Night covers, glass lids and doors
Spirit, e-Ventus, e-Novus MD, Inspi SV, Intro RI, Maxim, Sofie SO and Emilie SO display cabinets
are optionally supplied with covers, glass lids or doors depending on the type of cabinet.

thespringorcovermechanisms.
When opening or closing Maxim night cover, keep the cover horizontal at a
90-degree angle to the cover holder. If the cover is moved at the wrong angle, the
fasteners or the cover holder may fray the edges of the cover.
NOTE
Spirit, e-Ventus, e-Novus MD and Intro RI cabinets can be supplied with either a manually operated
or a motorised cover. For Maxim cabinets only the manually operated option is available.
Motorised night covers are operated manually with the light switch on the right-hand cabinet.
When the lights of the cabinets are switched off from left to right, the night cover is lowered when
the light of the last cabinet is extinguished. Conversely, the lights are switched on by proceeding
from right to left. One motorised unit may control a maximum of four extension covers.
The upper and lower limits of the night cover can be adjusted with the adjusting crank on the
motor for the cover. Remote control for all the lights and motorised night covers in a single store
is also available.
Check regularly that the night cover operates correctly. If the cover needs to be adjusted, contact
your nearest servicing organization.
Glass lids and doors should be opened and closed cautiously to avoid injuries. Instruct
customers how to use them safely.
NOTE
2. Preparations
