Observe the temperatures at the

Secondary flow
" and the "
DHW
cylinder top
" for approx. 10 min.
Both temperatures must rise.
Otherwise:

Check whether the mixer is cor-
rectly adjusted
&
Check the electrical mixer con-
nections (see page 183)
&
Replace the mixer, if required
3.
Terminate the test program with
"
BACK
".
Checking the high pressure switch
1.
Switch on heat pump (see section
entitled "Checking the mixer and
the heat pump" on page 110, points
1 and 2).
2.
Choke the heating flow, until the
flow temperature rises above
60 °C (but no higher than 70 °C).
The high pressure switch must shut
the compressor off.
Checking the compressor casing temperature
1.
Start the heat pump and let it run
for at least 10 min (see page 110,
point 1 and 2).
2.
Measure the temperature of the
compressor casing exterior while it
is in operation.
Ice must not form on the outside of
the compressor, and the housing
must not become warmer than
60 °C (otherwise consult the Tech-
nical Service department at
Viessmann).
Setting the control parameters
1.
Activate the "
Contractor level
".

2.
Check the control settings using
the details regarding standard set-
tings (from page 191).
Record only modified values in the
service report from page 191.
