■
Implement the mains connection as a permanent
connection (3-core cable NYM). If the mains con-
nection is made with a flexible power cable, it
must be ensured that the live conductors are
pulled taut before the earth conductor in the
event of strain relief failure. The length of the
earth conductor wire will depend on the design.
■
Install an isolator in the power cable to provide
omnipolar separation from the mains for all
active conductors, corresponding to overvoltage
category III (3 mm) for full isolation. The isolator
must be fitted in the permanent electrical installa-
tion, in line with installation requirements.
■
We additionally recommend installing an AC/DC-
sensitive RCD (RCD class B
) for DC
(fault) currents that can occur with energy effi-
cient equipment.

Power supply accessories (230 V~ 50 Hz). Where
the boiler is sited in a wet room, accessories out-
side the wet area must not be connected to the
power supply at the control unit.
If the boiler is not sited in a wet room, the power
supply for accessories can be connected at the
control unit. This connection is directly controlled
with the system ON/OFF switch (max. 6 A).
