Ask your heating contractor about the following:
■
Boiler type and relevant control unit type
■
Level of the required system pressure
■
Position of the pressure gauge, shut-off valve, gas
shut-off valve, ventilation apertures

Check the heating system pressure at the
pressure gauge. If the pressure of the heating sys-
tem is too low, top up the water or notify your heat-
ing contractor.
2.
In boilers for
open
flue operation:
Check that the ventilation apertures of the installa-
tion room are open and unrestricted.
Note
With open flue operation, the combustion air is
drawn from the installation room.
3.
Open the shut-off valves in the oil lines (at the tank
and filter) or open the gas shut-off valve.
4.
Switch ON the power supply, e.g. at a separate
MCB/fuse or a mains isolator.
5.
Turn on the ON/OFF switch (see pages 20
and 21).
After a short time, the standard menu is displayed
(see page 12) and the green ON indicator illumi-
nates. Your heating system and, if installed, your
remote controls are now ready for use.
Shutting down the heating system

The circulation pumps are briefly started every 24
