Vitovent 300-W meets the requirements for passive
house use.
Air distribution/ductwork
Supply air and extract air ducts
The air is distributed from the ventilation unit to the liv-
ing spaces (supply air) or from the wet areas to the
ventilation unit (extract air) via air distribution boxes
with flat ducts, connection elements, silencers, supply
air and extract air vents.

Position the air distribution boxes near the ventilation
unit.
■
Route the supply air and extract air ducts from the
relevant air distribution boxes to the individual
rooms.
Installation information
■
In order to avoid complicated duct runs, install the
ventilation ductwork
prior
to installing the central
heating, water and waste water services.
■
Ducts must
not
sag, to prevent condensate accumu-
lating.
■
Contaminants must be kept out of the ductwork.
