Secure components with butt straps, perforated
straps (on site) or mounting brackets (accessory).

Secure components with plastic-coated perforated
straps (on site) and seal joints with shrink tape.
■
Join all components with connection pieces or
female connections.
■
Use reducers in accordance with the required flow
rate and the building characteristics.
■
Secure EPP pipes on the connectors of the ventila-
tion unit to the wall using mounting brackets so that
the pipes cannot be removed without tools.
■
If flexible

flat ducts are routed within the
insulation layer below the screed (e.g. as the supply
duct for the air distribution box), protect these with
on-site cover panels against deformation by concen-
trated loads (impact protection).
■
Thermally insulate all ductwork in unheated areas
with vapour diffusion-proof material.
